As the #1 party cup in America, a pack of Hefty Party Cups (HPC’s) is a must if you’re planning a get together. So we’ve made them the central part of our campaign — using cues from holidays and gatherings, we make party cups an active participant in the fun. The idea serves as a simple reminder to people planning a party: Hefty is the go-to when good times are in order.

We came up with a flurry of animated spots rather than the ask of a :30 live-action one. Something that could stretch the production dollars to encompass more instances, help in the creation of print and static posts, and extend into a long-running series to reinforce the idea and promote the brand.

On the surface, our little campaign is painstakingly simple. And we worked hard to keep that notion. We tried to create something that could become iconic for Hefty but also stay true to the underlying visual message: There’s a party in every pack.
